Candid Camera

Everyday in which Xavier goes to school, we go through the same routine. You can yell Xavier's name till the cows come home and he will not budge. But let him hear the intro to monster jam show on speed(which conveniently comes on at 7 oclock) and he is up and at em. Here is a view of what i deal with every morning.

Who's ready for monster jam?

Shout out!

This summary is not available. Please click here to view the post.

So i went to Nashville for a week on some work bidness..........

and i swear this boy has gotten a year or so smarter. And the dog seems to have grown too but lets not talk about her. And with this new knowledge my son feels the need to edumacate me on some things.

First, the pronunciation of his name. It is not zay-vee-ure. Its Zaa-vee-yay. I was like, hold up,"who told you that?" He said, "that is how you say my name!"
Excuse me for naming you, son.

Secondly, types of roads. On the way to school today we had this convo.

X- daddy you are going super fast.

R- no, not super fast, just fast.

X- uh uh daddy you are going super fast.

R- no just fast Xavier. We go super fast on the highway.

X- so right now we are on the "Low-way" right daddy.

R- (laughs)Thats right Xavier we are on the Low-way.

I can't possibly remember everything he says but believe you me, there is so much more. I think i am going to invest in a voice recorder to tape these magical moments.
Till the next time. Peace.........and much luv to ya.

Are you smarter than a 5th grader. Scratch that, 4 year old.

One of the joys of my day is the daily commute to and from work. Tee and I work very close to each other and we all get to ride to work/school together. On these trips Tee and I are often blessed with his nuggets of knowledge, as was the case today on our way home'

X- daddy, 3 and 3 makes thirty three

R- yeah man

X- what does 1 and 8 make

R- eighteen

X- 1 and 9 make nineteen

R- yep.

X- mommy

X- mommy
(mommy was busy checking email on her phone)

T- yes baby

X- what two ones make and two fives make.

T-two ones make two and two fives make ten.

X-no it not

T-yes it does xavier. if you know it all, don't ask me.

X-nooo! two ones make eleven and two fives make fifty five.
(Tee's head drops and i bust out laughing)

T- Xavier don't ask me no more questions. (as she drops her head in shame.)

No my dear! You, Tee, are not smarter than a 4 year old.

Busy Week

Sorry about the lack of post this week. Some how Spring Break snuck up on us this year and we had the luck of not having a plan for what to do with the boy this week. So he has been going to work with us. While it is nothing but a pleasure having the constant stream of entertainment and knowledge, i wanna give a shout out to Miss Younger, and the rest of the school staff. She deals with Xavier and many other kids like X on a daily basis. brb.
